One of the greatest joys of being a dentist is watching families grow.

I first met when she walked into my office with her kindergarten class. Years later, it has been such an incredible honor to now care for her beautiful children, too.

Moments like these remind me that dentistry is about so much more than teeth—it’s about relationships, trust, and being part of people’s lives through the years.

2026 is more than half gone and we want you to maximize your dental insurance benefits. We are writing to remind you to schedule your cleaning, exam and any other dental procedures as soon as possible in order to fully utilize your 2026 insurance benefits. These benefits as well as healthcare flexible spending accounts may expire at the end of December. Most insurances allow you to have two cleanings a year. If you had none, please call to make an appointment. This way you can have one cleaning now and the other one by the end of the year. This way you will maximize your benefits.

Unlike medical insurance, healthcare flexible accounts and most dental insurance plans do NOT roll over to the following year. As such, any unused benefit dollars for 2026 will be LOST.

If you have put off dental treatment such as caps, fillings or implants, this is the time to maximize on your insurance.

We know how busy families are today, but coming in for regular dental cleanings and exams, you may avoid dental complications that may cause you to exceed future dental benefits. We are committed to the prevention of dental disease and regular exams and cleanings are essential to that effort.

As the year quickly passes by, calendars get busy and things get put off. We urge you to call 516-328-8200 today so that we may schedule your appointment as soon as possible. We want you to maximize your benefits AND to have the best dental treatment available. Remember, it is best to catch problems before they get too large!
