📚✏️As kids head back to school, let’s rethink how we talk about food. Skip the labels: junk, bad, crap, fake, toxic, unhealthy. Kids pick up on the tone we use around food faster than the nutrition facts, and that tone sticks with them for years, shaping how they feel about eating and their bodies long after the conversation is over.
Instead of “”good”” and “”bad,”” try neutral language: everyday foods and sometimes foods, or just call things by their name. All foods can fit. What matters is variety, balance, and eating without guilt attached.
