The MOSH surgical team recently came together to support the Franklin School District Supply Drive, because care for this community is about more than orthopedic outcomes. It also extends to making sure that every child has the opportunity for a strong start to their school year.

Fall sports season is here, and for student-athletes across the area, that means practices, training, and the intensity of competition are all ramping up at once.

MOSH athletic trainer Sarah Smith knows this season well. Through the MOSH Athletic Training Outreach Program, Sarah is on-site at area high schools — right on the sidelines — providing the immediate care, expert evaluation, and ongoing support that keeps student athletes healthy and in the game.

Whether it's a sprain that needs same-day attention or a nagging injury that needs a closer look, having a MOSH athletic trainer there when it happens makes all the difference. For athletes, for coaches, and for the parents cheering from the stands.
