🎉We are so excited to welcome Dr. Madi Ferry, PT, DPT to the Executive PT family!

Madi earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan Flint and brings a solid mix of orthopedic, sports, and neurological experience to our team. She has a passion for helping all kinds of patients — from athletes and post-surgical recovery to general orthopedic conditions — and offers specialized services including pelvic floor therapy, rehabilitation of the injured runner, and dry needling.

On top of all that, Madi is a former collegiate soccer player, so she truly understands what it means to be an athlete working toward a comeback. 💪

We are so happy to have her here and know our patients are in wonderful hands.

Executive PT 2.0 Demo Update……

Walls are down! Measuring office space for offices and beginning to put walls in for offices and reconfiguring HVAC ducts.

Get ready Franklin, TN!

03/25/2026

First look at Executive PT 2.0! I’m excited to show you all what the inside looks like in the first week of demo!

We have a long ways to go but I met with the GC today and we have some awesome stuff in store for our new home.

I’m quite blessed to be building a company where we get to serve people at such a high level with non traditional physical therapy with a longevity focus.

Feels like we are living a dream.

And I guess we are!

I truly believe if you can dream it, you can build it.

That stiff, achy base of your neck that never seems to release? It might not be your muscles — it could be your first rib.

When the first rib loses mobility at the cervicothoracic junction, you get:
🔹 Chronic neck tightness
🔹 Limited rotation or side bend
🔹 Upper trap that never “turns off”
🔹 Restricted overhead or forward reach
🔹 Thoracic outlet-type symptoms

Here’s how to mobilize it with just a belt:
1️⃣ Loop the belt diagonally across the shoulder on the side you’re targeting

2️⃣ Hold the free end to create a downward lateral traction bias on the first rib

3️⃣ Laterally flex your neck toward the same side — and/or reach the arm forward or overhead

4️⃣ Hold each end position for 1–2 seconds, moving in and out for 30–45 seconds

5️⃣ Repeat as needed

The diagonal belt angle mimics a manual caudal glide on the first rib — decompressing the CT junction and restoring mobility.

The forward or overhead reach adds a dynamic bias through the shoulder that targets the anterior first rib attachment, making this a great warm-up before any upper body work.

✅ Great for: neck stiffness, limited cervical side bend, upper trap tightness, thoracic outlet symptoms, overhead reach limitations, forward reach, and shoulder prep

⚠️ Not appropriate for acute injury or instability — consult your provider if symptoms worsen

📌 Save this and try it before your next upper body session.

5 years of work in a singular direction is powerful. 10 years is unrecognizable.

This year is our 9th year as a company at and wow how much we have grown.

I signed the papers this week and we are officially moving into a 3,500 sf space this coming August.

And we are adding another team member.

We are keeping the integrity of the style of practice we have with 1:1 sessions, strength focused in a smaller style “gym” I call a studio.

The 3,500 sf space will be separated into two spaces 2000 sf and 1500 sf respectively to keep the “small feel” our clients love.

It’s one of the many reasons they don’t go to a large scale gym.

They get their pain fixed and they get to utilize an upscale semi private setting that meets all their needs.

Here’s to 2026!

One of my favorite quotes is by “We often set unrealistic, overly ambitious goals for a single year but fail to recognize the immense progress possible over a longer period, like a decade, emphasizing the power of sustained, consistent effort over quick wins”.

Here’s my past decade. With a bonus for you

2016 - We had been living in Nashville for just a year.

2017 - Made life decisions that would change the course of my life (and ultimately ‘s clients lives) due to an encounter with a dear friend who changed my life.

2018 - Got incredibly strong and rekindled my inner athlete.

2019 - Welcomed our first born into the world and took the leap of faith into full time.

2020 - What a year for everyone. But that was the year we rekindled my love for snow! Also due to a conversation with a client who became a dear friend.

2021 - Built Executive PT’s first permanent home.

2022 - Had quite possibly the hardest year of life with my wife losing our twins and my dad in the same year only a couple months apart.

2023 - Welcomed our youngest Marley into the world. She was 5 weeks preterm and had to be in the NICU when she was first born.

2024 - Became certified as a medical provider for the USSA.

2025 - Got pretty decent at skiing bumps.

2026 - My alter ego era.
