Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled Tropical Escape featuring a visit from the Kona Ice snow cone truck, a delicious tropical grill-out prepared by Chef Tomeeka, and lively Caribbean steel drum music by Gabe Lamog! 🌴🎶

With leis around our necks, tropical tunes in the air, and sweet treats in hand, it truly felt like a little island getaway right here at home. Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable celebration! 🌺🌊

🧠🥗 Today we learned about the MIND Diet—a way of eating designed to support both brain and body health! Residents explored how foods like leafy greens, berries, whole grains, nuts, beans, fish, and olive oil can help keep our minds sharp and our bodies strong.

To top it off, we partnered with our Culinary team for a menu taste test featuring avocado chimichurri flank steak and roasted grape and tomato salad! Residents enjoyed sampling this flavorful dish while sharing their feedback, right here making it a fun way to combine nutrition education with great food. 💚🍽️
