🎓💚🐊 CONGRATULATIONS, GREEN GATORS! 🐊💚🎓

Last night, we celebrated our Green Gators as they officially graduated from the Nashville School of Massage Therapy! 🎉

And of course, the Green Gators celebrated with a GREEN DAY graduation! 💚🍀🌿🐊 Everything GREEN — the color, not the band! 😉

Now they’re taking the next steps toward becoming Licensed Massage Therapists! 🙌

✨ Erin has already taken the MBLEX and PASSED! 🎉👏
✨ Jo-El has his MBLEX scheduled and is up next! 📚💪
✨ Our other 2 graduates are working hard to complete their remaining requirements so they can take their MBLEX soon!

We are so proud of the dedication, growth, and determination these four have shown throughout their time at NSMT. Graduation is a huge accomplishment, but we know this is only the beginning!

👏 Our students were out in the community yesterday putting their skills into action! 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️

Our students participated in two separate chair massage events—one at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and another at Ancora!

We love giving our students opportunities to gain real-world experience while sharing the benefits of massage therapy throughout our community. 💙

A big thank you to both organizations for welcoming our students and allowing them to practice, connect, and grow! 🌟

🎓🐊 Congratulations to the Green Gators! 🐊🎓

We are so proud to celebrate the graduation of our Green Gators! 💚 After all the hours of learning, practicing, studying, and growing, they’ve reached an exciting milestone in their massage therapy journey.

Their Country Western-themed graduation was the perfect way to celebrate this hardworking crew. 🤠🌵👢 They may have graduated, but they’re not quite riding off into the sunset yet!

Our Green Gators are now working hard to complete their final requirements and prepare for the MBLEx, with everyone expected to test within the next 30 days. 📚💪

🎉 We Have Exciting News to Celebrate! 🎉

Last night, it was officially announced that Nashville School of Massage Therapy's Institutional Director, Angela Poe, LMT, A.A.S., B.S., has been elected to the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) Board of Directors!

This is an incredible honor and a testament to Angela's unwavering commitment to advancing massage therapy education, supporting educators and students, and strengthening our profession.

Angela's passion for excellence, leadership, and advocacy has made a lasting impact at NSMT, and we couldn't be more proud to see her represent our school and the massage therapy community on the national stage.

🏆 Congratulations to Our Incredible Instructor, Brandy! 🏆

We are so proud to celebrate our amazing instructor, Brandy, for earning 5th Place in the Sports Massage category at the American Massage Championship!

Competing against 17 talented massage therapists from across the country, Brandy's outstanding skill, professionalism, and dedication to the craft earned her a top-five finish—an incredible accomplishment!

Our students are learning from one of the best, and we're honored to have Brandy as part of the Nashville School of Massage Therapy family. Her passion for excellence continues to inspire everyone around her.

🎓 NSMT Alumni Spotlight: Diane 💙

Join us in celebrating Diane, a proud Nashville School of Massage Therapy graduate from the Class of June 2026!

Before beginning her journey into massage therapy, Diane built a successful career in accounting and finance and even explored nursing before realizing her true passion was helping others through therapeutic touch.

When asked what she loved most about NSMT, her answer was simple:

💬 "The people—the students, faculty, and clinic clients. It's great being around people who genuinely want other people to feel better."

Just one week after graduation, Diane earned her Tennessee massage license and immediately began building her own solo practice. From creating a website and preparing her treatment space to securing business and establishment licenses, she's embraced the exciting challenge of becoming a business owner.

Like many new entrepreneurs, Diane has discovered that success takes patience, persistence, and hard work. While growing her massage practice, she also teaches Accounting at Chattanooga State and recommends having multiple income streams while building a business—a valuable piece of advice for anyone entering the profession.

Her journey is a wonderful reminder that it's never too late to pursue a career that aligns with your passion for helping others.

One of Diane's hopes for the future is to see NSMT alumni stay connected through an alumni networking community where graduates can share ideas, encouragement, and celebrate each other's successes.

A Nashville native, Alisa has been part of the NSMT family since February 2026. She chose NSMT after a recommendation from a graduate and because of the school's outstanding graduation rate. Since then, she has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Alisa's love for helping people and her passion for health and wellness inspired her to pursue massage therapy. After realizing in 2022 that she could turn that passion into a career, she hasn't looked back.

🌟 **NSMT Student of the Month – Congratulations, Zach!** 🌟

This month we're proud to recognize **Zach** as our **Student of the Month!** 👏

Originally from **Milan, Tennessee**, Zach has been a student at Nashville School of Massage Therapy for the past **5 months**, and his passion for learning and serving others shines through in everything he does.

As a competitive bodybuilder and fitness professional, Zach understands firsthand the impact that quality bodywork can have on recovery and performance. That experience inspired him to pursue a career in massage therapy so he can help athletes, active professionals, entertainers, and everyday clients move better, recover faster, and feel their best.

When asked why he chose NSMT, Zach shared:

*"I wasn't looking for the fastest path to a license—I wanted an education that would help me master my craft and build a long-term career."*

He credits our hands-on clinical experience for helping him develop confidence, refine his techniques, and learn how to tailor each session to meet the individual needs of every client.
