🚨 A growing red rash, sometimes shaped like a “bull’s-eye,” can be an early sign of Lyme disease.

🕷️ Many people do not notice a tick bite, so watch for a rash, fever, tiredness, headache, or muscle and joint pain.

⚠️ Get urgent medical help if you have a rash that is spreading quickly, one side of your face starts to droop, a severe headache, confusion, chest pain, or trouble breathing.

Protect yourself when spending time outdoors:

🌿 Use insect repellent

👖 Wear clothing that covers your skin

🚿 Shower and check your body for ticks after being outside

🩺 If you get a new rash or flu-like symptoms after possible exposure to ticks, contact a healthcare professional as soon as possible.
