✨ Reframe: Instead of ‘why can’t I let it go,’ try ‘my brain is replaying this because it’s trying to protect me from embarrassment.’ Then thank it and move on. 💙

Therapists when their people-pleasing client finally says “no” 👏🎉
The rest of the world might not get it… but we know that’s a healing milestone.

For someone who’s spent years saying yes to avoid conflict, rejection, or guilt, that first “no” is huge. It means their nervous system is starting to believe it’s safe to have boundaries. It means their self-worth is shifting from being needed to being authentic.

And honestly? Watching that transformation happen in real time is better than any lottery win. 🥹💛

So to all my recovering people-pleasers out there — your “no” is sacred. Every time you use it, you’re reminding your body that your needs matter too.
