David had a great week last week in Pittsburgh attending the Comfort Keepers Franchise meeting! It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow franchise owners, share ideas, and bring home new ways to better serve the seniors and families in our community. While there, he also stopped by the Mister Rogers statue and enjoyed catching up with Corinne Fello from Comfort Keepers Pittsburgh and Jennifer Bauernfeind from Comfort Keepers Minneapolis. It's always inspiring to learn from others who share the same passion for making a difference.

A Month Later... The Joy Still Lasts 💜

It's been a little over a month since we celebrated the National Day of Joy, and we're still smiling about the moments we shared.

What made the day so special wasn't just the photos—it was the laughter, the conversations, the hugs, and the genuine connections between our caregivers and the amazing seniors we have the privilege of serving.

At Comfort Keepers, we believe joy isn't something reserved for one day on the calendar. It's found in the little moments that happen every single day—a shared smile, a favorite story, a walk together, or simply knowing someone cares.

💜 Caregiver Spotlight: Angela 💜

Sometimes, it's the little things that make the biggest difference.

While caring for her client, Angela noticed that something didn't look quite right with his toe. Trusting her instincts, she immediately brought it to the family's attention. They contacted the client's healthcare provider, who advised them to call 911. Thanks to Angela's attentiveness, her client received prompt medical care.

His family later shared this message with our team:

"It was Angela who first pointed out that Shapon's left toe didn't look right. We called Kaiser Permanente and were asked to call 911. The rest is history. We are grateful to Angela and to all of you."

Angela's compassion, keen eye, and dedication are exactly what make our caregivers so special. She reminds us that exceptional care isn't just about helping with daily tasks—it's about noticing when something isn't right and taking action.
