This phrase gets used casually all the time but real OCD is very different from liking things organized.

Real OCD is intrusive thoughts you can't turn off. Compulsive behaviors you do not because you want to, but because the anxiety won't let up until you do. Hours spent in your own head, exhausted and ashamed.

It's one of the most misunderstood conditions in mental health and one of the most treatable.

But trauma isn’t about the size of the event. It’s about how your nervous system responded to it.
