I recently read an article on Gloria Steinem and was a part of her early consciousness raising talking circles. We are going to be doing more of those here in line with several enjoyable and healthy uplifting ways to reset and relax and raise our vibrations... Here is a wonderful way to start. Please enjoy our upcoming Sunday Morning event outdoors weather permitting, but either way lets get together and share our journeys and hold them in a space of love and affirmation through song. See below for a list of useful benefits.

How It Works
Singing combines physical exercise, emotional expression, and social interaction. The coordinated breathing and rhythmic engagement stimulate the body’s “feel-good” chemicals, while the mental focus and emotional release reduce stress and improve resilience

In summary: Singing benefits the body by improving lung and heart function, reducing stress, and boosting immunity; it benefits the mind by enhancing focus, memory, and emotional regulation; and it benefits the spirit through social connection and joy. Even casual, informal singing — like humming in the shower — can yield these effects, but group singing amplifies them
