All of our radiologists are Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and many have additional specialized certification. cular surgeons and 6 mid-level practitioners; Our physicians were trained at some of the most prestigious radiology programs in the country including Mallinckrodt, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Stanford, University of Virginia, Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Mayo Clinic, among others. We provide sub-specialized expertise in all major areas of radiology including, but not limited to, Neuroradiology, Orthopedic Imaging, Women’s Imaging, Nuclear medicine, Trauma Imaging, Oncology/Cancer Imaging as well as performing minimally invasive techniques for detection and treatment of many types of disease. We are committed to always using the most sophisticated cutting edge imaging equipment and IT resources, including High field 3 Tesla and Open MRI units, Multidetector CT scanners armed with radiation dosage monitoring software to minimize radiation exposure, and state of the art Ultrasound units; We ensure that all of the imaging centers and offices that we own, manage or support are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), a prestigious designation and rigorous process. RAF’s physicians are supported by a highly effective and skilled administrative team. This team has been recognized nationally for best practices in radiology and has enabled us to provide state of the art imaging services, facilities, and technology. RAF has long been part of the Fredericksburg region, beginning in 1948. We are active members of the medical community with strong relationships with the Mary Washington Healthcare System as well as the primary care and specialist physicians in the region. We have both promoted and participated in bringing the most sophisticated medical care to this community.
