A quick September note
I’ll be stepping away from the studio September 7–12 for rest, quiet, and recalibration. If your body or spirit needs tending before then, I have openings this week and the rest of September is already filling fast. Book your session while the calendar is still open.

The apothecary shop is due to open tomorrow. I’m actually going to postpone that until after I get back since I will not be able to fulfill orders while I’m away. So the new date for the fall winter apothecary Shop offerings will be September 13th!

New Facial Massage Menu at Feral Roots Conservatory

Beginning September, the Conservatory’s facial massage offerings are expanding into a full botanical ritual menu, blending herbal hydrotherapy, Thai compress work, and skin‑loving plant medicine.

Botanical Face & Scalp Ritual — 60 minutes · $145

A sculpting, hydrating facial‑massage ritual using the full Anima Mundi botanical line — layered creams, oils, hydrosols, and aromatic steam. This service feels closest to a traditional facial, with massage forward techniques and deeply nourishing botanicals.

Herbal Aromatic Thai Facial Massage — 60 minutes · $115 · 45 minutes · $85

Available September 3
A gentle, hydrating facial‑massage ritual using warm and cool mini Thai herbal balls crafted from studio botanicals and in‑house apothecary blends. Perfect for mature skin, sensitive skin, and clients seeking a soothing, aromatic alternative to traditional facials.

✨ Seasonal Apothecary Add‑On ✨
Witches’ Brew Foot Scrub ·

Available September 1
A seasonal, grounding foot ritual crafted from my in‑house apothecary blend of Chaga mushroom, sweetgum resin, clove, pumpkin, cinnamon, vetiver, dark patchouli, and Atlas cedar. This warming scrub softens the feet, boosts circulation, and wraps the senses in a smoky forest‑witch aroma. Perfect before any facial‑massage ritual to settle the body, calm the nerves, and root you into the treatment.

Fall & Winter Schedule Update

Beginning immediately, my permanent studio hours will shift to reflect the fall and winter season:

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday: Closed
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

These hours will remain in place going forward.

---

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

My strict cancellation policy is now active.
Any change to an appointment — canceling or rescheduling — made within 24 hours of the appointment time is considered a late cancellation and will incur a 50% fee of the scheduled service.

This policy keeps the studio sustainable and ensures that appointment times are respected. Last‑minute changes do not allow enough time to fill the spot, and consistent boundaries protect the rhythm of the practice.

---

Price Increase Coming in December

A long‑overdue price adjustment will take effect in December.
Updated service rates will be posted in November so clients have plenty of notice.

---

September Closure Reminder

The studio will be closed September 7–13.
Please book your September appointments early — availability is more limited around this scheduled break.

August gathers everything: color, heat, fragrance, wings. The apothecary garden feels like a small spell, petals lifting, herbs breathing, pollinators stitching the air together. A season made of gold and green. It is when the apothecary garden shows its full medicine chest. Feverfew drying in the sun, echinacea cones heavy and spiky, yarrow soft and feathery, rudbeckia blazing like tiny suns. Every plant is in its teaching phase as a color, scent, texture, pollinators, all of it part of the lesson. I will be harvesting flowers leaves, stems some roots, even some seeds for the apothecary and for product making and herb craft late August and throughout September! We are working on getting our online apothecary shop well stocked before fall.
