Happy August, My Friends…
Stress… we've all experienced it, and we'll all continue learning how to overcome it.
Some stress is real. A car breaking down, an unexpected bill, or a difficult season in life. But some of the greatest stress we carry isn't even happening, it's the story we keep replaying in our minds until our body believes it's real.
That kind of stress can show up as pain, sleepless nights, exhaustion, tension, or even a weakened immune system.
Massage therapy can absolutely help your body relax and recover. But true healing also comes from looking beneath the surface. If we never address the root of our stress, it often returns again and again.
This month, I encourage you to notice when stress appears and ask yourself:
• Is this happening right now, or am I imagining what might happen?
• What is this stress trying to teach me?
• How can I respond with peace instead of fear?
Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is pause, ask questions, and choose a different perspective.
Don't let stress define you or stop you from moving toward your dreams. We all have the ability to rise above it, one choice at a time.
