Kaili Piker is the Social Service Assistant at La Bella of Freeburg. She has been employed here since September 11th, 2025. Her hometown is Freeburg, Illinois. She has one dog named Conner. Her favorite thing to do outside of work is hanging out with friends and going boating at the lake. Her favorite color is blue. Her favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse. Her favorite kind of music is country. Her favorite tv show is Landman. Her favorite vacation destination is anywhere with a beach. Her dream vacation destination is Bora Bora. Her favorite thing about working at La Bella of Freeburg is the opportunity to care for the residents. Their well-being is always her top priority and it is always a plus to work with staff that is always kind and helpful. The teamwork is truly amazing!

Last Friday we had a fun day with our neighbors, Laugh & Learn Daycare!
The Pre K class came to visit and play in the water with our residents, who were having so much fun watching the kids and throwing water balloons at them!
The kids even ganged up on our Activity Director Tammy with water blasters. What a great day!

August is packed with fun at La Bella of Freeburg! ☀️

From games, music, crafts, and ice cream socials to live entertainment, family visits, and plenty of laughs, our residents have a full month of activities to enjoy. We can't wait to make more wonderful memories together!

What a fun way to cool off on a hot day! 💦☀️

Our residents recently enjoyed their very first trip to the splash pad, and it was such a hit that we already know it won't be our last! Our amazing dietary team packed delicious sack lunches so everyone could enjoy a picnic together, and we made sure to bring plenty of bottled water to stay hydrated.

Between the splashing, laughter, and smiles, everyone had an unforgettable day making wonderful summer memories. A big thank you to our dietary staff and restorative aides for making this special outing possible!

There are moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We recently received this heartfelt letter from Karen Gilbert, whose husband, Mike, was a cherished resident at La Bella of Freeburg. Her kind words about the compassion, dedication, and support our team provided mean more than we can express.

To Karen, thank you for trusting us with Mike's care and for taking the time to share your experience. It was truly an honor to care for him, and we are grateful for your thoughtful letter and recommendation.

We are also incredibly proud of our entire team. From admissions and nursing to housekeeping, dietary, laundry, therapy, and activities, every department plays an important role in creating a caring environment for our residents and their families.

Thank you, Karen, for reminding us that kindness, compassion, and teamwork make a lasting difference. ❤️

One of our favorite activities yet! 🎨💙

Our residents had an absolute blast during our "Paint the Activity Staff" event! Armed with paint guns and paintbrushes, they turned our activity team into colorful works of art. Let's just say... everyone ended up covered in paint, some a little more than others! 😄

The laughter, smiles, and friendly fun made this an unforgettable day for everyone involved. Thank you to our amazing activity staff for being such great sports and helping create so many wonderful memories!
