The team from 4E Neurosciences at Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center were recently honored with a Grateful Patient donation. The donor was so grateful with her experience at Atlantic Health CentraState that she wanted to donate to something that would benefit both the RNs and PCTs. She felt that the entire staff was compassionate and caring and wanted to ensure that it is recognized. A scholarship has been created to for continuing education for this department and we are very grateful to our donor and to Daniel Nwaiwu, Elana Joyce, Lynda McDonald and the whole team for going the extra mile for their patients. We are pleased to share that Thomas Scott, President and CEO, CentraState Healthcare System, will be this year's Scouting America, Monmouth Council, Scouting America Eagle Scout Hall of Fame inductee.

Tom is a seasoned healthcare executive whose career spans more than 20 years. At the helm of CentraState Healthcare System, he oversees Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center, a 284-bed acute care hospital; two senior living communities; a vibrant ambulatory campus; satellite health pavilions; a charitable foundation; and more than 2,300 employees. He is also the current president and chair of Scouting America, Monmouth Council.

The team from the Central Jersey Wound & Edema Treatment Center was recently recognized through the Grateful Patient program at Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center. The patient wrote, “I am writing this letter to let you know how pleased I was with the care I received. The professionalism of your staff and their compassion were exemplary. They all worked together as a team to make a most difficult situation tolerable for me, the patient. I wanted to let you know that those who need these services are truly in the best hands.” We are grateful to the whole team for their dedication to their patients. We recently attended the grand re-opening of the Dunkin Donuts on Route 33 in Farmingdale, NJ and were honored to be a recipient of a donation to support the Hersh Pediatric Center at CentraState. This center combines advanced pediatric emergency and inpatient care in one modern, family-friendly center—offering unmatched convenience, expertise, and comfort for children from infancy to young adulthood.
