What a wonderful afternoon we’ve shared at WinnPrairie! 🎶☀️

We were blessed to spend time enjoying music with Ed from Heartland Hospice. We always look forward to his visits—his talent, kindness, and joyful spirit brighten everyone’s day!

After the music, we took a relaxing bus ride through the beautiful country roads, looking at the fields and soaking in God’s beautiful creation. We wrapped up this perfect summer afternoon by gathering on our patio, enjoying popsicles, laughter, and great company.

It’s the simple moments shared together that create the sweetest memories. 💚🍦

Yesterday our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible team at Straddle Creek Gardens. 🌸

Thank you for sharing God’s love through the beautiful work you do. Every flower you brought, every smile you shared, and every moment you spent with our residents was a true blessing. Your kindness reminds us how important community is and how the simplest acts of generosity can make the biggest difference.

🌟 Our Employee of the Month of July! 🌟

Cindy has worked as a nurse at WinnPrairie for 5 years. Her favorite part of working at WinnPrairie is the residents. She loves to take care of them. Cindy started her career and healthcare at the age of 16 working as a CNA and a nursing home she loved it and knew one day she wanted to be a nurse. Cindy is married and has one son. She has numerous pets including a dog cat rabbit and chickens. she loves to garden go bike riding hiking, and she loves to read. She lives in the country south of Monroe and has a large vegetable and flower garden. Her favorite foods are fresh, strawberries, and sweet corn! We appreciate Cindy for all her hard work!

📚 Our Book Club gathered to discuss How the Penguins Saved Veronica by Hazel Prior, and it definitely sparked some great conversation! While the book received mixed reviews from our readers, one thing we all agreed on was how much we enjoy coming together to share our thoughts, laughter, and friendship.

Whether we loved the story or not, every book brings a new perspective and makes for meaningful discussion. We’re grateful for this wonderful group and always look forward to our time together. Here’s to good books, great conversations, and even better friends! 💙📖
