I'm excited to host another Art Showcase & Social Hour tomorrow evening!

This month I'll be featuring the work of Ken Warner (Twist N Time) and Celia Stuart. Ken creates incredible metal sculptures and copper-wire bonsai trees, while Celia's photography captures the beauty in the small details that often go unnoticed.

I love bringing local artists together and creating a space where our community can connect, explore, and appreciate creativity.

I’m really looking forward to featuring Tom Park at this month’s showcase.

His work is deeply inspired by a lifelong connection to nature, and he brings that to life through beautiful wood carvings. There’s something really meaningful and grounding about his pieces.

I hope you’ll come experience his work on May 7th.

I’m excited to introduce the second artist who will be featured at my upcoming Art Showcase — Tom Park.

Tom’s love for birds, animals, and the natural world started early in life and has stayed with him ever since. He spent much of his time outdoors exploring, observing, and connecting with nature—experiences that deeply shaped both his life and his art.

Later, he worked alongside a world champion decoy carver who became his mentor, helping him develop a unique ability to truly see animals and bring them to life through his work.

Today, Tom creates by carving wood, using his art as a way to preserve and honor the natural world. His pieces feel thoughtful, grounded, and deeply connected to something bigger.

Her work is full of bold lines, vibrant color, and hidden details that make you want to look a little closer. It’s expressive, creative, and truly joyful.

You’ll be able to see her work in person at the showcase—I hope you’ll stop by!

I’m so excited to introduce the first artist for my upcoming Art Showcase — Robin Schuttenberg.

Robin’s work is expressive, creative, and full of personality. She’s inspired by nature—the flowing lines, subtle colors, and even the hidden surprises just beneath the surface. Her art invites you to slow down and look a little closer.

She works primarily in pen and ink, sometimes on paper and sometimes on wood, and she lets creativity guide her as she goes. Her style can range from simple and monochromatic to bold and full of color—and she’s not afraid to explore both.

Lately, she’s been creating carved walking sticks and woodland scenes (and even experimenting with a chainsaw, which I think is pretty amazing!.

What I love most about Robin’s work is her philosophy: art should make you feel something—and she chooses joy.

I think you’re really going to enjoy her work.

I hope you’ll come by to see it in person.
