Please help us welcome Megan to the Main Street Counseling Fam!

Megan is joining us this summer as a practicum student. She will be gaining experience in the 12 core functions to help her achieve success as a provisionally licensed alcohol and drug counselor.

Megan is originally from Fremont, Nebraska, and now lives in Omaha with her fiance, four children and two dogs. She will graduate in October 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, focusing on addiction studies, and is passionate about helping others on their recovery journey.
When she's not working or studying, Megan enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Megan shares that she is excited to be part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of others.

Friends,

I cannot begin to describe how blessed and grateful I am feeling with this announcement.

Thank you for sticking with us throughout the past three years as we figure out all the things.

Three years ago when I started Main Street Counseling, I was simply just wanting to do some evaluations on the side. What started as an idea, quickly turned into full time and I am so grateful for that!

Since 2023, we’ve served hundreds of people, joined the re-entry court team, visited multiple jails, started working with disordered gambling, and are now expanding to two new locations in Nebraska.

We couldn’t do it without the people we serve or the community that continues to support us!

Thank you Fremont for once again voting us Best of Fremont- Best Counseling Service and more importantly for trusting us with your care. ❤️
