💙 A Letter That Truly Made Our Day 💙

There are moments that remind us exactly why we do what we do, and this is one of them.

We recently received the following letter from former resident Chuck Thatcher, who entrusted us with his care and rehabilitation following a broken left femur. His kind words touched the hearts of our entire team, and with his permission, we'd like to share them with you.

"Greetings Patty,

You may or may not remember me. I was one of your residents for a little while. Your people were giving me therapy after I broke my left femur. The job that they did was top-notch and a giant step in my recovery. Kudos to Colleen and her staff. Thank you so much!
I'm a natural good food lover. I got this from my dad and his family. Hats off to the kitchen staff and their chef. There were several food ideas that I stole and brought home with me! Yum!
I can't say enough about the medical staff. I was well taken care of. Thank you all!

I don't remember her name, but the young lady who was about to give birth to her baby didn't agree with me when I suggested she name her baby 'Chuck.' I told her it was a good name! She didn't think so! 😂 I hope the birth went well.
A big thank you to everyone who assisted with getting the information needed for my release so I could go home, continue my therapy, and keep getting better. It's going well!

When I retired from my job after 25½ years, I promised myself that I was going to keep my sense of humor no matter how difficult things might be. I've needed that throughout my medical journey, and your staff have been there beside me, helping with my well-being. Thanks, all!!!
