Things we hear all the time...
• "I didn't think my problems were big enough."
• "I thought therapy was only for crisis."
• "I should've started sooner."

What research consistently shows:
• Early support often leads to better outcomes than waiting until you're overwhelmed.
• Strong social support is one of the greatest protective factors for mental well-being.
• Self-awareness is linked to healthier relationships, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Therapy isn't about waiting until you're struggling enough.
It's about building a life you don't have to recover from.

A major CONGRATULATIONS to Noah for obtaining his Independent License!

•An independent practitioner must undergo 3,000 supervised hours of practice and pass state boards while continuing to meet educational and ethical requirements bi-annually…a major accomplishment!

Way to go, Noah!! 🥳🥳

Last night, Lauren was featured on WOWTs “Now What” Panel with fellow colleagues Dr. Murman, Neurologist and Professor at UNMC, Dr. Wergen, Family Physician and past President of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Dr. Fisher, Public Health at UNMC. 🤓

The episode, “Brain Health Across the Lifespan” highlights the importance of integrative, collaborative, and person-centered care. Along with the impact brain health disorders and medical illnesses have on cognitive and behavioral functioning. 🧠

The episode will air in July! 🌟

What a great opportunity to continue spreading awareness and educating the Nebraska community on mental healthcare!

Many of us have learned to push through stress, minimize it, or tell ourselves we'll deal with it later.

But stress has a way of asking for our attention—whether through our thoughts, emotions, relationships, or physical health.

Taking care of yourself isn't about avoiding stress entirely. It's about noticing when your mind and body are asking for support and responding with compassion rather than criticism.
