Heads up, Bulldogs! As we head into the hot summer months, it’s important to be aware of the signs of dehydration!

Dehydration occurs when your body loses more fluids than it takes in. Common early symptoms include extreme thirst, dark yellow urine, fatigue, and dry mouth.

In severe cases, it can cause dizziness, confusion, and lack of urination!

Just like Alexis said, ensuring you always have water or an electrolyte-based drink with you, wearing appropriate clothing, staying in the shade or taking breaks indoors in the AC are essential to avoiding dehydration or other serious medical conditions like heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

REPOST to help spread the word and keep our community safer and healthier all summer long. ☀️😎

✨ Hey Bulldogs! It’s time to chat about something super important --alcohol safety! 🍹✨ While having a blast is a vibe, keeping it safe is equally cool. Remember, knowing your limits, staying hydrated, and looking out for your friends is the ultimate flex! 💪

So, whether you’re sipping at a rooftop party or chilling at home, let’s keep the good times rolling without the headache of tomorrow. Check in on your crew, pace yourself, and always have a buddy system in place.

Stay Cool and Healthy! ❤️

School is over, the sun is shining brighter, and there is time for beach trips! 🌴🏄️ It is time to enjoy the great outdoors (responsibly). Remember to limit your time in direct sunlight, wear protective clothing, and use a broad-spectrum SPF 15+ sunscreen. 🌞

For now, enjoy the relaxing sounds of campus and relax this weekend, Bulldogs!

Let's talk PrEP! 📝 There are a few ways to prevent the contraction of HIV, and PrEP is one of them. At the Student Health and Counseling Center, we offer long-term injectables as well as oral medication for the prevention of HIV. Ask your provider what works for you!

🤍 We are here to answer any questions regarding safer s*x.

Call us at 55.278.2734 to schedule an appointment with one of our providers or ask any questions about PrEP!
