“How many sessions will I need?”

This is probably one of the most important questions to ask—and the honest answer is:

It depends. ⚡️

There’s no magic number that works for everyone.

Your treatment plan can depend on what we’re treating, how long you’ve been dealing with it, how your symptoms are presenting, and how your body responds to treatment.

That’s why I don’t want to automatically put everyone into a predetermined number of sessions.

First, let’s figure out if shockwave is appropriate for you. Then we can make a plan.

I’m much more interested in treating the person in front of me than selling you a package. ❤️

“Okay Brittaney… but does it HURT?” 😂

Probably the #1 question I’ve gotten so far.

And the honest answer is: you will feel it.

Shockwave delivers rapid acoustic pulses into the treatment area, so it’s definitely a different sensation than massage.

BUT—the intensity can be adjusted based on the treatment area, the condition we’re working with, and your individual tolerance.

We’re not trying to win a pain contest. 😂

Communication during treatment is important, and I’ll be checking in with you throughout the session.

The goal is to find an appropriate treatment intensity—not to make you miserable.

Does shockwave replace massage?

Nope. 😂

And that’s actually one of the things I’m most excited about.

I’ve spent the last 5 years building Renegade around hands-on therapeutic work—deep tissue, IASTM, stretching, movement and customized treatment.

That’s not changing.

Shockwave is simply giving me another tool to work with.

Depending on what you’re dealing with, we may use shockwave, manual therapy, movement work, or a combination of approaches.

Because your body isn’t a one-size-fits-all problem.

The goal isn’t to use the newest tool just because I have it.

The goal is to figure out which tools make the most sense for YOU. ⚡️

Is there a pain or injury that just…won’t quit? 👀

Maybe you’ve stretched it.
Maybe you’ve massaged it.
Maybe you’ve rested it.
Maybe you’ve tried to ignore it. 😂

And yet somehow… it’s STILL there.

That’s where shockwave may be worth exploring. ⚡️

Radial shockwave can be used as part of treatment for certain chronic musculoskeletal conditions, including some tendinopathies and plantar fasciitis.

But here’s the important part:

Shockwave isn’t for everyone.

I’m not interested in putting every client on the machine just because I have one. I want to look at what’s actually going on, your symptoms, your goals, and what other treatment you’ve already tried.

Sometimes shockwave may be a great option.
Sometimes another approach makes more sense.

The goal isn’t to sell you a treatment. The goal is to find the right tool for YOU.

IT’S HERE. ⚡️

After months of research, education, and a whole lot of excitement, I’m officially adding radial shockwave therapy to the Renegade Therapeutic toolbox.

Why?

Because sometimes massage, stretching, IASTM and movement work get us part of the way there…

…and sometimes stubborn tissue needs a different stimulus.

This isn’t replacing the hands-on work you know Renegade for.

It’s giving me another tool to help customize your treatment.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to show you exactly what shockwave is, what it can help with, what a treatment feels like, and who may be a good candidate.

Because sometimes we need more than one tool in the toolbox. 🔧
