👋 Meet Trevor Watts, Physical Therapist at Plan PT.

Trevor’s path to physical therapy began with personal training and his own experiences with injuries. After receiving physical therapy himself and feeling that there was more to good rehabilitation, he knew he wanted to approach patient care differently.

What does Trevor enjoy most about helping patients?

Empowering them.

He believes patients are often capable of more than they realize, and that recovery should be about giving people the knowledge, confidence, and tools to manage their condition—not simply relying on passive treatments.

His advice to patients is simple: don’t let a diagnosis or a test define what you believe you’re capable of.

Outside the clinic, Trevor enjoys strength and conditioning, training baseball players, hiking, reading, spending time with family, and helping run a batting cage.

And for the fun fact…

Trevor once had a pet Vietnamese pot-bellied pig named Flo. 🐷

According to Trevor, she was his favorite pet of all time—and apparently, “Once you have Flo, you can’t go.” 😂

We’re proud to have Trevor as part of the Plan PT team!

🍎 THANK YOU, EDUCATORS 🍎

As another school year comes to a close, we’d like to recognize the incredible people who make our schools thrive.

To the teachers inspiring future generations, the principals leading their campuses, the counselors supporting students, the coaches mentoring athletes, the custodians keeping schools running, and every staff member working behind the scenes—thank you.

A school year requires countless hours of standing, walking, lifting, teaching, coaching, supporting, and serving others.

Now that summer is here, take some time to focus on yourself.

Whether you’re dealing with aches and pains, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to move and feel better, your health matters too.

You spent the year investing in others.

Now it’s time to invest in yourself.

From all of us at Plan Physical Therapy, thank you for everything you do and have a wonderful summer.

👋 Meet Steve Overstreet, Physical Therapist at Plan PT.

Steve’s journey into physical therapy started in the fitness world. As a personal trainer, he worked with people of all ages and quickly realized that many were dealing with injuries, limitations, or challenges that required more than exercise alone.

Wanting to better help those individuals, Steve made the transition into physical therapy—and he’s been helping patients recover ever since.

His favorite part of the job?
Seeing people get back to the activities they enjoy most.

When working with patients, Steve focuses on meeting each person where they are and tailoring treatment to their individual goals and needs.

His advice for anyone starting physical therapy:
“Be patient. Recovery often takes longer than you’d expect, and setbacks can happen. Stay consistent, trust the process, and keep investing in yourself.”

Outside the clinic, Steve enjoys cooking, spending time with family, working out, walking his yellow and chocolate labs, and relaxing by the pool on weekends.

Fun fact: Steve is a self-proclaimed fan of pistachios and firmly believes the best grapes are red, crunchy ones. 🍇

We’re grateful to have Steve as part of the Plan PT team!

👋 Meet Phil, Founder of Plan Physical Therapy.

Phil’s journey into physical therapy began as a student-athlete recovering from ankle injuries. After experiencing firsthand how physical therapy can help people return to the activities they love, he developed a passion for helping others do the same.

Today, Phil is committed to treating the whole person—not just the injury. His approach combines expert, evidence-based care with a genuine commitment to helping patients regain strength, confidence, and independence.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find him fishing, hiking, mountain biking, working on a project, or spending time with his family.

One piece of advice from Phil:
“Go in with an open mind and give it your best effort. Recovery isn’t about complicated solutions—it’s about applying simple principles consistently.”

We’re proud to have Phil leading the Plan PT team and serving the Fresno and Clovis community.
