This bug hunt activity is perfect for indoor play when it’s just too hot outside 🐞🔦

All you need are some printed bugs and jars, glue, and a flashlight! For many kids, simply turning off the lights and adding a flashlight makes the whole experience feel extra fun and exciting.

This activity is a great way to support:
• labeling
• shared enjoyment
• protestation
• commenting
• spatial concepts (in, on, under, next to)

Simple, engaging, and full of opportunities for connection and language 💛
