I moved with the shining sun setting on the horizon
glistening on the shallow creek bed
I moved with the long shapes of the trees
Gentle wavering branches and leaves
I moved with the delicately flowing water
Slow and serpent like flowing down the way
I moved belly down with the many roots around
Winding and spiraling across the limestone into ground

When my body can’t seem to hold the weight of the world
Limestone holds me with its earthen strength
Tree roots help me remember our connection
Continual mycelial web
Interwoven network encompassing all that is
Reminding me of our unity
Oneness

Must be the season of the witch 🖤

Inside each of us there’s
a continual autumn.
Our leaves fall and are
blown out over the water,
a crow sits in the blackened limbs and
talks about what’s gone.
There’s a necessary dying, and
then we are reborn breathing again.

Very little grows on jagged rock.
Be ground.
Be crumbled
so wildflowers will come up where you are.

A Continual Autumn, by Jalal Al-din Muhammad Rumi

A sensual woman is an erotic woman by nature
Rich in life force energy
Tapped into the wellspring of her feminine
Plugged into an aliveness
Satiated with sensation
She hungers for more
For deeper intimacy with all of life
