Sometimes people do not need the perfect advice. They need someone willing to notice, ask the question, and stay long enough to listen.

This month, we are continuing to remind our community that checking in matters.

Ask how someone is really doing.
Pay attention when something feels different.
Do not be afraid of an honest conversation.

Such a great morning at the 25th Annual Women in Business Summit with Dr. Alice Sanchez and an inspiring group of women from across our North Texas community.

We remember the lives lost, the families and friends who still carry that loss, and the first responders and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

At SANA Psychiatric Associates, we pause today with gratitude, reflection, and prayer.

May the souls of those we lost rest in peace, and may their families, friends, and loved ones continue to find strength, comfort, and healing.

Today marks one year since Brandon Villafuerte, PMHNP joined our team.

A year may not sound like a long time, but in a small practice, you learn a great deal about a person in that time. You see how they handle difficult days, whether they keep learning, and whether they are willing to carry their share of the responsibility.

Brandon has done that.

Mental health care is deeply human work. People often come through our doors during some of the hardest chapters of their lives. They deserve someone who will listen, take them seriously, and do the work alongside them.

We care a great deal about the people we bring into SANA because every person on our team becomes part of someone else's story.

Brandon, thank you for the work you've put in this past year, for the patients you've helped, and for continuing to grow with us.
