New Research: Selective Thrombin Modulation with AYA1809002
AYA1809002 is a novel Exosite I-targeting DNA aptamer designed for selective, stable, and reversible thrombin modulation.
The study demonstrates potent inhibition of key procoagulant thrombin functions while preserving thrombomodulin-dependent protein C activation. AYA1809002 also showed strong functional stability and rapid, sequence-specific reversal of its anticoagulant activity.
These findings highlight a promising approach to more precisely controlled anticoagulation.
