FINAL REMINDER — We’re live August 26!

If AI helps create the clinical record, who is ultimately responsible for what it says?

The provider who signs it.

WHEN AI DOCUMENTATION MEETS AN AUDIT
Using AI Safely for Behavioral Health Documentation

In this live one-hour training, we’ll look at what can happen when AI adds information that wasn’t assessed, observed, or performed—and how providers and organizations can use AI more safely while protecting documentation accuracy, medical necessity, coding, privacy, reimbursement, and compliance.

AI can save time. It can reduce documentation burden. It can be an incredibly useful tool.

But the final clinical record still has to accurately reflect the care that was actually delivered.

What if AI documented something that never happened?

Maybe the note says CBT was performed—but it wasn’t.

Maybe it describes a patient response the provider never observed.

Maybe it adds symptoms that weren’t assessed or creates language that makes the encounter appear more complex than it actually was.

And the finished note looks great.

That’s the problem.

AI can make documentation more polished and complete while potentially making the clinical record less accurate and less defensible.

WHEN AI DOCUMENTATION MEETS AN AUDIT
Using AI Safely for Behavioral Health Documentation

We’ll look at what can go wrong with AI-assisted behavioral health documentation—and practical safeguards providers and organizations can use before that documentation becomes part of the permanent clinical record.

💲 Early Bird: $99 through August 20 (Use code "EarlyBird")
$149 after August 20

AI can be an incredibly useful tool. The key is making sure it helps communicate the care that was actually delivered—not create clinical evidence that wasn’t there.

AI drafted the note. You reviewed it. You clicked sign.

But what if AI added something that didn’t actually happen?

An intervention you didn’t perform.
A patient response you didn’t observe.
A symptom you didn’t assess.
Documentation that appears to support a service differently than the encounter actually occurred.

Would you catch it before you signed? And if you didn’t—could you defend it later?

If AI drafts the note and you sign it, are you prepared to defend what it says?

AI can make behavioral health documentation faster and easier—but it can also introduce information that wasn’t assessed, interventions that weren’t performed, patient responses that weren’t observed, or language that doesn’t accurately reflect the care delivered.

Join Sherry Marchand, CPMA, of Core Consulting Solutions for a new live training:
