At Oakview Estates we know the importance of keeping our minds and body active! This week was packed with stimulating programs as well as our routine activities. On Wednesday residents participated in "Remember When" story time at the Frontenac's library led by director Seth Nutt. Rootbeer floats was served by Cindy Poole with Harry Hynes while everyone enjoyed listening to Jim Wilson. Residents used creativity during crafts led by Lynette. Karaoke with Nicole and Alex is a great time to cut loose and have fun!

Oakview residents are on the go! Today a large group visited the Crawford County Historical Museum. Thank you to Carla of Carla's Country Garden, who led the group in making a beautiful succulent arrangement. Residents enjoyed touring the museum and seeing things that brought back alot of memories. One resident was thrilled to see an item her family donated to the museum many years ago. Thank you Amanda Minton and crew for being such great host!

Our residents stayed busy on July 28th. Cindy Poole with Harry Hines Hospice, treated everyone to donuts after we decorated the lobby candy bowl, Lynette Holt led an impromptu amazing worship service after lunch, and the residents always enjoy Stephanie's exercise class!

The heat didnt stop us from enjoying Frontenac's library and museum July 16th. After the tour, we gathered for delicious drinks at the coffee shop! We are so lucky to have this hidden gem in our community.
