AMR San Bernardino County Paramedics and EMTs are proud to provide 9-1-1 Emergency Care and Transportation to the residents of Adelanto, Apple Valley, Baldy Mesa, Bloomington, Chino, Chino Hills Colton, Desert Knolls, Devore, Fontana, Forest Falls, Grand Terrace, Helendale, Highland, Loma Linda, Lytle Creek, Mentone, Mt. Blady, , Oak Glen, Ontario, Oro Grande, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto,

San Bernardino, Silver Lakes, Spring Valley Lake, Upland, Victorville, and Yucaipa. In addition, we provide non-emergency interfacility transportation, as well as critical care transport.

Our Rancho Cucamonga Community Outreach Team recently had the opportunity to provide lunch for the staff at Vineyard Junior High School as a token of appreciation for all they do.

This effort reflects our core behavior of Find a Way Together, recognizing the important role local educators play in shaping and strengthening our community.

** Paramedic Eduardo Rodriguez Vazquez and EMT Natalie Maldonado for their role in a successful cardiac arrest resuscitation.

** Paramedic Rene Quezada and EMT Alexander Lobner for their involvement in three cardiac arrest saves in less than two weeks.

** Paramedic Luz Ramirez and EMT Isaac Aguilar for their exceptional care and teamwork during the treatment and transport of a critically injured burn patient.

These recognitions reflect our core behavior of Keep Care at the Center and highlight the dedication, teamwork, and compassion demonstrated by our crews every day.

• Never swim alone—always use the buddy system
• Only use U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices
• Supervise children closely near any body of water, no matter how shallow
• Do not dive into unknown or shallow water to avoid head injuries

• Place pet alert stickers on windows to notify rescuers of pets inside
• Secure pets near exits when you’re away to ease evacuation
• Practice fire drills, including pet evacuation
• Keep leashes and carriers easily accessible

Pools are a great way to cool off during the summer, but safety must always come first. Whether you’re at home or at a public facility, remember to:

• Actively supervise children whenever they’re in or near water
• Learn to swim and ensure children receive proper instruction
• Be prepared—know basic lifesaving skills, including CPR
• Keep children away from drains and suction fittings
• Have a charged phone nearby in case of emergencies

As we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary, we reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of the service, sacrifice, and dedication of so many, especially our nation’s Veterans.

Today, we proudly recognize the Veterans within our AMR and GMR family, as well as the EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and support team members who serve their communities every day. Their commitment, courage, and resilience embody the values that make our country strong.
