This month we celebrated all the amazing dads and father figures in our Ivy Terrace family. 💙

It was a fun afternoon filled with laughter, great company, and a special visit from Marilyn Monroe who had everyone smiling. Thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We love creating moments like these for our residents and the people they love.

Congratulations to Viri, our May Team Member of the Month!

If you’ve spent any time around our dining room, you’ve probably seen Viri’s warm smile and caring heart in action. She takes the time to get to know our residents, remembers their preferences, and always makes them feel welcomed and cared for.

Our Culinary Director shared, “Viri always goes the extra mile for our residents. She pays attention to the little things and helps make every mealtime feel comfortable and familiar.”

At Ivy Terrace, we offer parallel programming throughout the day, meaning multiple activities happen at the same time to match different interests, abilities, and preferences. Whether someone enjoys music, games, exercise, crafts, conversation, or a quieter activity, there are options to choose from.

It’s one of the ways we move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and create more opportunities for meaningful engagement, connection, and enjoyment every day.

Mother’s Day Luncheon at Ivy Terrace 💐

There is so much that happens behind the scenes before a celebration like this comes together, and it takes an entire team working side by side to make sure our residents and families feel loved, celebrated, and cared for every step of the way. No matter the challenges or last minute changes, our team always comes together with one goal in mind creating meaningful moments for the people who matter most.

I feel so proud to be part of a team that cares this deeply about making our residents and families feel special. The heart, teamwork, and love that goes into days like today is something truly special to witness. ❤️

Mother’s Day is a reminder to celebrate the women who shaped us, supported us, and loved us through every stage of life. This weekend was all about honoring them and creating memories together.

A little March throwback. While she was away on vacation, we did not want to miss the chance to recognize our March Team Member of the Month, Sara!

Working in both our Health Services and Activities departments, she consistently brings kindness, teamwork, and dedication to our residents every day.
