💜 Today, team members from The Gardens by Morningstar, The Maples Assisted Living, and Morningstar Nursing & Rehabilitation came together at the Oswego Farmers’ Market for The Longest Day, raising awareness and showing support for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our teams to come together for a great cause, honor those impacted by this disease, and help shine a light on the importance of Alzheimer’s awareness.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Like Mother, Like Daughter 🌟

At The Maples, we’re fortunate to have not one, but two amazing members of the Kerfien family on our team!

Rachel, our Human Resources & Payroll Manager, has been a valued part of our community for over 5 years. She loves the resident-centered atmosphere and enjoys the connections she makes with residents each day. Her dedication, positivity, and willingness to help others make a lasting impact on both residents and staff alike.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Emma serves as a Med Tech/PCA and has been part of the Elemental family for more than two years. Emma’s passion for caring for others shines through in the meaningful relationships she builds with residents and the compassionate care she provides every day.

Together, Rachel and Emma bring kindness, commitment, and a true family spirit to The Maples. We are grateful for all they do and proud to have this incredible mother-daughter team as part of our family!
