.."Truly an age limit, you know it has to be for adults very much like how alcohol is regulated. We want to put a framework around it, limit marketing and advertising, no public consumption. We realize people in Iowa are already doing it and they can go across the border and get it and bring it in,” Muhlbauer said.

When the program started, patients needed to go online in order to change their dispensary! That is no longer required. Just walk in with your medical cannabis card and make a purchase!

If you're in a pinch and need to shop at a recreational dispensary, be sure to let them know you have a valid Illinois medical cannabis card.
