Good morning, friends and happy Friday!

This girl has ALOT to be grinning about today. This week has been monumental for me and my practice. See this license behind me? It is soon about to take a upgrade! I am ELATED to announce that I have officially completed the post-graduate required licensure hours needed to become FULLY licensed! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

What does this mean? Well, once my application and paperwork is submitted and approved by the licensing board, and my full licensure is granted:

-I become more marketable and flexible with other insurance companies, meaning I will be able to accept an array of policies instead of being limited to a few.
-I am able to receive specialized trainings and certifications (that I have been patiently waiting to do)
-I no longer have to pay for clinical supervision (although my mentors are absolutely the best and have taught me so much, it is a big expense)

Another personal blessing took place at the same time I submitted for my final supervision report. And this blessing was a complete shock to me. I am forever humbled and grateful. πŸ™

Stay tuned friends. Lots of good things ahead!

Greetings, friends! And happy wellness Wednesday. πŸ‘ Today's word of encouragement is FREEDOM. I have been in deep thought, prayer, and reflection the last few weeks and the word freedom has continuously come up for me.

What is happening all around us- in the world, in our state(s), in our cities/communities, and in our lives is very heavy right now; or atleast for some, can feel very heavy. I know I have carried a heaviness at times that I can't fully seem to shake. This heaviness can feel absolutely overwhelming and paralyzing. Things are ever changing in our world and it's unbelievably hard to know what to do at times. There are no words!

But, freedom is coming! πŸ‘ As I have reflected on this word I am reminded of the small blessings and miracles that happen all around us that may go unnoticed. I am reminded to come back to a present state, be still for a moment and be intentional with everything I am doing. Having the freedom to be mindful, purposeful, meaningful is so liberating! And I believe with every ounce of my being that freedom is coming for us. Whether its financial freedom, emotional freedom, physical freedom or something else that is holding you down from enjoying a life of peace- freedom is coming. πŸ™ ✌️

Be intentional. Do your best. Give yourself grace. Do not be critical of yourself and others. Do not place judgment. Offer a new perspective. Be mindful. Be flexible. And allow for this newfound freedom to flow in you and through you.

You are worth it. 🫢

We are in this together. πŸ’ͺ ❀️

Good morning friends.

If you know me, you know that I am huge proponent of mind and body health. What we eat, digest, and absorb into our bodies on a daily basis makes a huge impact on our performance, both mentally and physically.

If you know me personally, you know that I myself have been on a health journey for the last few years that has completely changed my life-my world- for the better! I often disclose pieces of this journey in my therapy sessions to help empower others to have a different perspective when it comes to health.

If you are someone who is interested in gut health and exploring the positive and negative effects of gut microbiomes, food and nutrition; or how the foods we eat, medications we take, and environments we create, can effect our mental and physical health, please check out this video by Dr Andrew Huberman. It explains so much both chemically and physiologically.

Let's help one another by sharing our knowledge and wisdom. πŸ’ͺ ✌️ 🫢

**Disclaimer: I am not a physician nor do I "force" my beliefs on others. I simply explore other scenarios and perspectives by empowering my clients to think for themselves and be open to new ideas. I encourage thorough research and consultation with all providers. What works for some does not work for all. **

In this Huberman Lab Essentials episode, I explain how the different nutrients and foods we eat impact our emotions and overall mood.I discuss how the mind-b...

Hi friends!

Week 2 of being at the new place has brought a feeling of overwhelming gratitude and happiness seeing all the positive reactions and kind words from clients. Each of them are just as excited for this change and even better, they are happy for ME! What a pure and beautiful feeling. πŸ‘πŸ€˜πŸ«Ά

Who says therapy doesn't work and make a lasting impact on a person??πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

So thankful for this opportunity. πŸ™

I would also like to share that this counselor is just a few hours shy of being FINISHED with required post-graduate hours. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰This is has been a lengthy, financially overwhelming, one of a kind experience that has really shaped me (for the better!!) as an individual and a practitioner. Again, SO thankful! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™

More amazing things to come and I couldn't be more excited!

Wellness and nervous system regulation can absolutely be fancyβ€” biohacking gadgets like vagal nerve stimulators, peptides, supplements. And hey, I love them too; I’ve seen them work wonders for people chasing peak performance. But the truth is, I recommend these free nervous system regulators to my telehealth patients just as oftenβ€”like solid sleep routines, gentle walks in nature, or even breathing through a tough day without spiraling.

Those aren’t glamorous, but they’re essential game-changers for keeping your nervous system regulated and calm. Sometimes, chasing the perfect protocol or the next thing to buy or consume or try means missing out on just being consistent with the simple stuff that’s already right there. Consistency is the ultimate biohack.
