I started writing this piece before my son passed away.

When I came back to it, my own words about vitality and the light of life landed somewhere completely different. It reminded me that grief is not a symptom to be suppressed and asks to be tended to, just like any other symptom.

You’re doing everything right. Tracking, supplementing, eating clean, but you’re still stuck. Even with the right habits, your body may not be able to use what you’re giving it. Minerals affect, hormone balance, ovulation, stress response, and energy, just to name a few things. When minerals are off, your body may stay in “protection mode“. The issue might not be in your plan, it might be your mineral foundation.

Arnica is one of my #1 picks when building a home apothecary. Most commonly known for applying to bruises and minor cuts and wounds, I love using it for minor aches and pains, primarily sore muscles and cramps.
