How would you score on a Runner’s Optimization Test?

At our event tent, we’re offering a FREE Runner’s Optimization Screen that looks at three key qualities every runner needs:

1) Calf Endurance
2) Single-Leg Control
3) Impact Tolerance & Stability

Using three simple tests, we’ll identify strengths, asymmetries, and potential areas for improvement that may affect your running performance and durability.

The goal is to help you better understand how your body handles the demands of running.

Every participant will receive:
- A personalized Runner’s Optimization Scorecard
- Individual recommendations
- LMNT hydration

If you’re running or spectating the event, stop by our tent and see how you score.

Pickleball is supposed to be the thing that keeps you active, social, and moving. But for a lot of people, shoulder pain, knee pain, or Achilles soreness slowly starts taking that away.

At first, maybe you just “play through it.” Then you start skipping certain shots. Then maybe you sit out a game or worse, you stop playing altogether.

What people don’t talk about enough is how frustrating it feels when your body suddenly stops letting you do the thing you genuinely enjoy. For many active adults, pickleball isn’t just exercise. It’s stress relief. It’s community. It’s competition. It’s part of your routine.

The good news: Pain during activity doesn’t automatically mean you have to stop playing.

Most pickleball injuries happen because the body gradually loses strength, mobility, or capacity for the demands of the game, not because your body is “broken.” When we improve movement quality, build resilience, and address the root cause of symptoms, many people are able to get back to playing confidently again.

You shouldn’t have to choose between staying active and avoiding pain.

COVID changed the way many of us think about health.

It reminded us how important it is to take care of our bodies, not just when something goes wrong, but throughout our entire lives.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen more people prioritize:
• movement
• strength
• mobility
• staying active long-term

And that’s exactly where physical therapy can help.

As physical therapists, we are experts in human movement. Our role is not only to help people recover from injuries, but also to help them continue doing the things they love for as long as possible.

Pain and setbacks are a normal part of life and activity. That doesn’t mean you have to stop doing the activities you enjoy.

Whether it’s running, pickleball, tennis, or simply feeling healthier day-to-day, your body has an incredible ability to adapt and improve with the right guidance.

You are not “too old.”
You are not “too far gone.”
There is always room to improve your health and movement.

Most people follow the same path when something starts to hurt:

Primary care → specialist → physical therapy

But by the time they get to PT, they’ve often lost valuable time—and sometimes spent more money than necessary.

Physical therapists are Doctors trained to evaluate movement, identify root causes, and guide recovery from the start.

When used early, PT can help you:

• address the issue sooner
• avoid unnecessary steps
• stay active with fewer setbacks

Out-of-network care takes this a step further by allowing more time, flexibility, and a focus on what actually matters; your long-term health and performance.

If something doesn’t feel right, you don’t have to wait.
