Being around people who are genuinely pushing eye care forward changes how you go back to work on Monday.

Had a great time at the J&J Vision event alongside practitioners and consultants who are thinking seriously about where this profession is headed. The agenda they put together was solid - good mix of clinical depth and real conversation.

Hearing what doctors across the US and Canada are doing in their communities always brings something back to Gahanna. That’s what makes these rooms worth being in.

I had the opportunity to analyze and see some of the new technologies coming in at the latest J&J event I attended, and I came to a conclusion.

The difference in comfort, oxygen flow, and eye health between a quality lens and a generic one is something that most people don't think about until they start feeling it.

I always make sure my patients are wearing something that truly fits their eyes and their lifestyle. Because at the end of the day, you are wearing these on your eyes. That choice matters more than most people realize for your comfort and routine.

Did you know that our clinic has been part of Gahanna since 1981? It started with Dr. Tencza, my childhood eye doctor, and a conversation we had by chance at a local restaurant that ended up changing everything for me.

I grew up here, trained at Ohio State, and eventually took over the practice I visited as a kid.

Being the dad of 3 kids, caring for young patients is something close to my heart. That’s why participating in the Infant See workshop at the East West Eye Conference was truly special.

This program provides free eye care to infants in their first year of life, and being in the room with professionals who share that same mission means a lot to me.

Giving back to the community is something I will always show up for.
