Frozen Yogurt Berry Bites 🍇🍓

Cool, creamy, and refreshingly simple. These bite-sized treats are easy to prepare together and make a delightful, hydrating snack on a hot summer day. ✨

Ingredients
🍓 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
🫐 1 cup blueberries
🍇 1 cup seedless grapes
🥛 1 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
🍯 1 tbsp honey

Instructions
✅ Stir honey into the yogurt until well combined
✅ Dip each piece of fruit into the yogurt mixture, coating generously
✅ Place coated fruit pieces onto a lined baking tray, spaced apart
✅ Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm
✅ Once frozen, transfer to a container for easy snacking
✅ Serve a small bowl of frozen bites as a cool afternoon treat
✅ Store any extras in the freezer for up to one week 🧊

One of the most powerful things a memory care community can offer is not a program or a therapy or a piece of equipment. It is the feeling of being known. 🌿

When a staff member remembers that a resident takes their tea a certain way, or knows which song will bring a smile, or understands that mornings are harder than afternoons, something profound happens. The resident does not have to explain themselves. They do not have to orient to a new face or a new routine. They simply get to be themselves, supported by people who have taken the time to truly understand them.

That kind of knowing is not built overnight. It is built through consistency, genuine curiosity, and care that goes well beyond the clinical. And for families, it is often what peace of mind actually looks like in practice. 💛

Summer opens up a wonderful range of opportunities for meaningful engagement in memory care, and some of the most joyful moments come from the simplest ones. 🌞

Residents often respond beautifully to activities that engage the senses in familiar, comfortable ways. Think outdoor morning walks while the air is still cool, gentle gardening in a shaded courtyard, ice cream socials, or listening to music from decades past. These experiences do not need to be elaborate to be deeply enjoyable. Familiarity and warmth do most of the work.
