From third grade through 8th grade I was a competitive equestrian. I also exercised, hot walked and groomed Polo Ponies. I still hear my instructors voice in my head. Here is a list of things I learned during that time that I still use:
1. Listen and follow directions the first time.
2. Take care of yourself, horse, and all your equipment.
3. Think on your feet.
4. Have a plan, think ahead.
5. Be smart, have common sense and do what needs to be done, without being told.
6. Have fun and be safe.
Good life lessons to learn.
