Our residents stayed busy yesterday making these beautiful, hand-painted mason jar lanterns! 🎨✨Each jar is uniquely decorated and lit from within using cozy tea lights to create a warm, beautiful glow. Three years ago, Jessica walked into Pecan Tree as an LVN PRN Charge Nurse. She was balancing the immense demands of working on the floor while continuing her education to earn her RN. Anyone in healthcare knows that working while going to nursing school takes a rare level of grit, sacrifice, and passion. Jessica didn’t just survive that challenge; she thrived. Her hard work, sharp instincts, and deep care for our residents quickly became obvious to everyone around her. She showed us exactly what true leadership looks like from day one. Because of that relentless dedication, she didn’t just earn her RN—she earned the respect and admiration of this entire building. Today, we get to celebrate her as our wonderful Director of Nursing. Jessica, watching your journey from a PRN charge nurse to the head of our nursing department has been an absolute privilege. You bring excellence, heart, and steady leadership to Pecan Tree every single day. We are so incredibly proud of your growth, proud of your achievements, and deeply happy to have you steering our clinical team as our DON. Thank you for your past three years of service, and here is to many more. Happy anniversary, Jessica!
