Therapy doesn’t always happen within the four walls of a clinic! 🛒✨

Today our kiddos took a trip to Walmart to work on real-life skills in a natural environment. Community outings provide opportunities to target social skills, community navigation, safety awareness, sequencing, problem-solving, following directions, self-regulation, and functional independence—all while having fun and building confidence.

These experiences help bridge the gap between clinic-based therapy and everyday life, allowing children to practice meaningful skills where they’ll actually use them.

Today we celebrate a huge milestone for our sweet boy Andres as he officially graduates from ABA therapy at Lifting Spirits Therapy! 🎓💙
Watching Andres grow, learn, and achieve so many goals has been such an incredible journey, and we could not be more proud of him. His hard work, determination, and bright personality have inspired all of us every step of the way.
A very special shoutout to our amazing Lead RBT, Marlene, who stood beside Andres through every challenge and every victory under the guidance of our BCBA team.

Congratulations, Andres! We know this is only the beginning of many more amazing accomplishments ahead. We are so proud of you!

During National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, we’re highlighting the incredible work of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) here at Lifting Spirits Therapy.
They don’t just teach kids how to talk, they help them express their needs, connect with others, and gain confidence in their everyday lives. From first words to full conversations, SLPs play a key role in helping children find their voice and thrive.
Whether it’s working on object recognition and labeling, following directions like pointing and touching, improving articulation, every session is designed to meet each child where they are. 💙
