35 YEARS! 🎉 Donna Guinn has been serving the Ocala Police Department with dedication since 1991!

She became the first Victim Advocate Coordinator in 1994 and now serves as supervisor. She helped create the Victim Advocate Program from the ground up, including the first Children’s Advocacy Center in Marion County, the Human Trafficking Task Force where she currently serves as Co-Chair, and programs supporting domestic violence victims, seniors, and students.

Her leadership has earned her the Governor’s Peace at Home Award, Chief’s Medal of Distinction twice, Victim Advocate of the Year, and multiple Distinguished Service Awards.

She and her team provide crucial support to victims, including crisis intervention, court assistance, counseling, safety planning, community training, and much more.

We’re are extremely grateful for her commitment to public safety and proud of her impact on our community.

Please help us congratulate her on 35 incredible years of service! 👏

As noted by CommHIT's Chief Medical Information Officer, Dr. David Willis, this photo says it all. 💙

Almost three dozen agencies, organizations, and individuals—coming together every week—focused on one thing: the health and wellbeing of Marion County’s most vulnerable residents.

Spearheaded by Ocala Fire Rescue Mobile Integrated Health and Marion Senior Services, this High Utilizer Group includes Marion County Fire Rescue, Ocala Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Children and Families, behavioral health centers, homeless agencies, the domestic violence shelter, veteran’s services, and more organizations than we can fit in one post.

Weekly meetings. Real conversations. Real solutions.
This is what it looks like when a community decides to stop working in silos and start working together. We are so proud of every person in this room for showing up — not once, but every week — to challenge the status quo and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Marion County, you should be proud. 🙌
