Confession from a board-certified physician:
I don’t know everything.
Neither does any doctor.
The difference is that good doctors know what they don’t know.
That’s why medicine changes.
That’s why guidelines change.
That’s why honest experts sometimes say, “I need more evidence before I can answer that” or “I am not sure, but let’s look into the literature for more information.”
The people who worry me most aren’t the doctors who admit uncertainty.
They’re the influencers who never do.
