If you’re trying to eat healthy but still aren’t seeing the results you want, you might be focusing on the wrong thing.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is thinking they just need to eat less.

Less calories.
Less carbs.
Less snacks.
Less everything.

But eating less isn’t always the answer.

The truth is, your body needs fuel. It needs protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and foods that actually provide nutrients—not just foods that fit into a calorie goal.

We get so caught up in labels like low-calorie, sugar-free, keto, high-protein, and all the other nutrition buzzwords that we forget to focus on the basics.

Small swaps add up when it comes to reducing everyday toxin exposure and supporting your overall well-being 🏡💚

⚠️ Many common kitchen items—like plastics and nonstick coatings—𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. Some of these (like BPA and phthalates found in plastics) are known endocrine disruptors, meaning they can interfere with hormone function.

Teflon-coated products are made with PTFE (a PFAS “forever chemical”). While PTFE itself is considered stable at normal temps, it can begin to break down and release fumes if overheated—another reason to be mindful with high-heat cooking.

Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching.

It is the alignment between what you believe, what you say, and what you do. Not when it's convenient. Not when there's an audience. But especially when there isn't.

In training, integrity is holding yourself to the standard even when you could cut the rep short and nobody would notice. It's choosing movement quality over ego, honesty over excuses, and consistency over shortcuts. It is understanding that every corner you cut becomes part of who you are.

But integrity doesn't stop at the gym door.

It follows you into your relationships, your work, your commitments, and the promises you make to yourself. It's showing up when you said you would. Owning your mistakes instead of hiding from them. Being the same person in private that you are in public.

The reason integrity matters is because it becomes the foundation that everything else is built upon.

Strength without integrity becomes arrogance.
Talent without integrity becomes wasted potential.
Success without integrity eventually collapses under its own weight.

Integrity creates trust. Trust in yourself. Trust from others. It allows you to look at your reflection honestly and know that your character isn't dependent on who is watching.
