🌻✨ Tell me something good ✨🌻

It’s National Wellness Month, so let’s talk about a connection that might surprise you: your gut and your brain are in constant conversation! 🧠💬

The gut-brain connection is one reason taking care of your physical health can be an important part of supporting your overall well-being. And the good news? Wellness doesn’t have to mean following a strict diet or completely changing the way you eat.

Think about adding more variety to your meals, enjoying foods that nourish you, staying hydrated, and noticing how your body responds. 🥑🍓🥕

Small choices can add up—and taking care of yourself can happen one meal at a time. What’s even better is that you CAN eat the salad and the fries! Now that’s what I call a great use of small but great choices!💛

Looking for a little more mental health and wellness inspiration throughout the year? The Therapist Calendar for Everyone 2026 brings together holidays, cultural observances, mental health awareness days, and monthly mental health tips—all in one calendar. 🗓️🌿

It’s a simple way to keep learning, stay aware, and make space for your own well-being all year long.

😎🐾 Bruno has something to say… and honestly, he’s not wrong.

✨ I radiate love and light and positive energy… and swag. ✨

Positive affirmations are a great way to remind yourself of the good stuff—your strengths, your worth, and the fact that you’re doing better than you think. 💗

And apparently, Bruno’s affirmation is “I am the main character, and everyone else is just lucky to be here.” 😂🐶

Try creating your own affirmation today! Bonus points if it includes the word swag.

🧘‍♀️💗 Think meditation isn’t for you? Start here.

Meditation doesn’t have to be complicated, and you don’t have to be “good” at clearing your mind. This simple and quick meditation beginner's guide is designed to be an easy place to start with tips for setting yourself up for success.🌿

Watch the reel for the steps, then find a quiet, comfortable spot and give yourself 5 minutes to simply slow down, breathe, and check in with yourself.

And remember: a busy mind doesn’t mean you’re doing meditation wrong. When your thoughts wander, gently bring your attention back to your breath. That’s the practice. 💗

Save this reel so you can come back to it whenever you need a little reset, and share it with someone who’s been wanting to try meditation!

Yeah, I know… it sounds like I’m preaching to the choir. 😂

We know we’re supposed to eat enough, drink enough water, get enough sleep, spend time outside, take breaks, and not work ourselves into the ground.

But how are we supposed to do all of that when life itself can be so stressful? 💗

Sometimes I think about it this way: if I put all the energy I spend worrying about everything into actually taking better care of myself, I might feel a whole lot better.

Of course, it’s not always that simple. We have responsibilities, deadlines, relationships, bills, work, and a million other things competing for our attention.

But maybe we don’t have to fix everything at once.

Maybe today we just drink the water.
Eat the meal.
Go outside for a few minutes.
Put the phone down a little earlier.
Take the break.

Small things count, too. 🌱

What’s one thing on this wheel you could give yourself a little more of today? 💗

Ever feel like you’re constantly just getting through the day? 💗

Living in survival mode can happen when your mind and body have been under stress for so long that staying alert starts to feel like your normal. You may become really good at functioning, getting things done, and pushing through—but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re okay.

And sometimes, survival mode can look less like a crisis and more like “I’m fine, I’m just exhausted.”

If you recognized yourself in this carousel, consider it a gentle reminder to check in with yourself more often. What do you need right now—not just to get through the day, but to actually feel supported and cared for? 🌱

You don’t have to earn rest by reaching your breaking point.

✨ Tell me something good ✨

Yesterday was International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, and it’s a great reminder that learning shouldn’t stop at recognizing a day on the calendar. 🌎🌿

You can support Indigenous communities by learning from Indigenous creators and educators, supporting Indigenous-owned businesses and organizations, learning about the history of the land where you live, and listening to Indigenous voices and perspectives. 💛

And speaking of calendars… The Therapist Calendar for Everyone 2026 is now available on Etsy! 🗓️✨

One of the things I love about this calendar is that it recognizes holidays and observances across different cultures and communities, as well as important mental health awareness days throughout the year. Each month also includes a mental health tip to encourage reflection, wellness, and taking care of yourself.

A little learning, a little awareness, and a little mental wellness inspiration all in one. 💛

🌿 When your thoughts feel too loud, try this grounding technique. 🌿

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in overthinking, worry, or racing thoughts. Grounding techniques can help bring your attention back to the present moment and remind your nervous system that you are safe right now. 🤍

Try taking a moment to pause, notice your surroundings, and reconnect with your senses. Even a small moment of mindfulness can create a little more calm in the middle of a busy mind. ✨

Save this for a moment when you need a gentle reset. 🌱
