🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

Everyday we have spotlighted a person from our team, because at PTC, it takes a whole team to keep you moving. 💚💙

The final spotlight today is on Rita Bayer, PT.

Rita has been a PT for 36 years and a member of the PTC team her whole career. She has been voted as the Best Motivator and the team member with the Best PT Dance Moves!🏆

One of the many things she loves about her job besides helping patients regain function is the opportunity to learn from them. One patient taught her how to quilt and helped make her first quilt. 💗

Rita reports the most unusual thing she has done for a patient has been giving one a haircut and trimming the hair out of his ears. She has also taken measurements for a patient to help her find her correct bra size. At PTC, we are a full service clinic, helping patients beyond their physical needs.

The strangest thing she has learned at PTC is that some people love their pets so much that when they die, they put them in the freezer so they can still pet them daily. 🐈😳

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

The spotlight today is on Emily Adams. She is one of our techs at PTC. We could not do what we do without the techs keeping us on track each day.♥️

Emily’s future plans include becoming a PT Assistant. She joined our team in August of this year and has been voted as having the Best Bedside Manner!🏆

Emily says her favorite thing about working at PTC is hearing all the stories patients will tell. One patient has taught her the best place to store your money is in the oven. 💰

She states the strangest thing she has learned is about a patient’s first date from the beginning all the way to the end, including the detailed kiss on the porch at the end of the night. 😲

The spotlight today is on Ellie Hacker. She is one of our techs who are the heart of the day to day hustle at PTC. ♥️

Ellie’s future plans include becoming a nurse. She joined our team in June of this year and has been voted as the Most Likely to Tell a Patient, “You Can Do Better Than That!” 🏆

Ellie says the funniest thing a patient has told her was that a toothbrush was invented in Arkansas because anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush.😂

She states her favorite thing about working with patients at PTC is hearing their crazy stories and that nothing is too much information for some.

If 💙PTC💚 were to have a theme song, Ellie says it would be Ella Langley’s song, Be Her, but changing the lyrics to “I just want to be hurt so bad”.🎶

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

The spotlight today is on Raylee Waugh. She is our scheduler, tech and helps keep all the PTs work flowing smoothly.

Raylee joined our team in 2024 and has been voted as the Most Likely to Make You Laugh While You Exercise! 🏆

Raylee says the funniest thing a patient has said to her is, when he speaks of his ex wives, he refers to them as the eater, the cheater or the be**er.

The strangest task she has done at PTC is to create a personalized cheer and performed it for a patient. 🤸🏾‍♀️

Something you may be surprised to know about her is the fact that she has an 8” scar on her back from a spinal fusion as a result of a car accident! 😫

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

The spotlight today is on Alma Rodriguez! She is one of the first smiling faces you see when you walk in the door and ready to help you ! 🥰

Alma is new to our family and has been with us since July. She has been voted Most Likely To Know Upcoming Birthdays.🏆

Even though she has only been with us a few months, she has already learned to never underestimate a patient’s strength and positivity. She also has learned you will never know what will walk in through the door.

When asked what might surprise a patient to know about herself, she says she is very soft hearted. She may not show it (which she really does)but she cares about people and their well being. She loves to tell people about how great God is! 🙏

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

The spotlight today is on Susie Metzler, PT.

Susie has been a PT for 28 years and a very familiar face with our team. She has been voted as the Most Likely to Turn a Patient into a Friend!🏆

Susie became a PT because she likes helping people restore their mobility, manage pain, and overcome challenges so they can regain their independence. ♥️

Her favorite part of being a PT is watching patients work hard to improve and reach their goals, building long term relationships with patients and line dancing with them. The strangest thing she has ever done for a patient is rehabbing potted plants for them.🪴

The funniest thing she has heard a patient say is “My rotary cup is out of place” or that their pain is a 15 on a 1-10 pain scale.

Something that patients may be surprised to know about Susie is that she is very competitive.

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

The spotlight today is on Jessica Jones! She is one of the first faces you see when you walk in the door and plays a big part in making you feel like family! 🥰

Jessica has been a part of our team for 15 years and has been voted as the Most Likely To Investigate A Questionable Situation!🏆

Her favorite part of being a part of the PTC team is to be able to see everyone’s progress from start to finish, especially young athletes getting back to the sport they love.

During her time with our team, she has learned a lot of things about people but is amazed how people will share their whole life story on the first day of meeting.

You might be surprised but Jessica is proud to say she is related to Rita 😂and if it wasn’t for her job with PTC, she wouldn’t know her husband.

One thing that she has learned from our patients is that everyone is fighting a battle of some kind, progress is gradual and lots of patience, determination, a positive attitude, and a few good laughs help!

If 💙PTC💚 were to have a motto, Jessica says it would be “Laughter is the best medicine”.

🌟PTC Spotlight!🌟

Everyday we will spotlight a person from our team, because at PTC, it takes a whole team to keep you moving. 💚💙

The spotlight today is on Nichole Strickland, PT, DPT.

Nichole has been a PT for 9 years, joined our team in 2024 and has been voted as the Most Creative Exercise Creator🏆!

Her favorite part of being a PT is to be able to see progress of the patient and enjoys their conversation, stating the funniest thing a patient has said to her is, “my leg is full of gas, it needs to fart!”

During her time with our team, she has learned if a patient asks if they can take a jacket off, she needs to ask first if they are clothed underneath!

The strangest task she has ever done for a patient is to create an exercise to imitate mopping the floor. She simulated the activity with a broom stick and a plate weight.

She is proud to tell her patients that she has 4 children but 3 of them are 2 and under! 😫
