Immediate Opening: Full-Time School Therapist/Counselor
Village Counseling Center is hiring a full-time School Therapist/Counselor to provide mental health services to elementary students in Alachua County.
We have an immediate opening and are offering a retention bonus for eligible candidates.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants meaningful clinical work, a supportive team, and a school-based schedule with built-in breaks.
Position Highlights:
Pay: $44,000–$54,000 per year
Equivalent to approximately $55,000–$68,000 in a traditional 12-month position due to school breaks and summers off
Retention bonus available for eligible candidates
Holiday, performance, and annual bonus opportunities
School schedule with holidays, breaks, and summers off
Licensure supervision available for MHC/MFT Registered Interns
Child trauma therapy training
Supportive, collaborative team environment
10 days PTO
We are looking for someone who has:
LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern status in Florida
Experience counseling children with mental health and trauma needs
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
A genuine desire to help children and families
This is a subcontracted position and does not include health, dental, or 401(k) benefits.
