Many of us have learned how to survive.

To adapt.
To fit in.
To shape ourselves around expectations.

But healing invites something more.

This Pride Month, I'm offering a Q***ring Breathwork Experience—a space for q***r folks to gather in community and solidarity as we explore authenticity, embodiment, liberation, and belonging through the wisdom of the breath.

Together, we'll create space to reconnect with ourselves, honor the fullness of our experience, and remember that we don't have to become someone else in order to belong.

🌈 Q***ring Breathwork
📅 Saturday, June 13th
⏰ 1:30–5:00 PM

Sometimes the most frustrating place to be is:

Aware.

You know what's happening.

You know where it comes from.

You know what you "should" do.

And yet the old pattern still shows up.

Not because you're broken.

Not because you're failing.

Because understanding isn't the same thing as embodiment.

And healing isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about cultivating a different relationship with yourself.

One of the most common things I hear from people is:

"I know exactly why I'm doing it... but I keep doing it."

They understand their attachment patterns.
Their nervous system responses.
Their childhood experiences.

They know the "why."

But they still feel stuck.

The truth?

Understanding a pattern and changing a pattern are not the same thing.

Awareness is powerful.

But awareness alone doesn't create safety.
Awareness alone doesn't create self-trust.
Awareness alone doesn't create new experiences.

That's where embodiment begins.

✨ Liberate Your Wild is coming this fall.

How well do you know about the history and importance of celebrating Pride Month?

Here's a little overview of the history and importance of celebrating Pride and what it may mean for the LGBTQ+ community:

🌈 Pride Month is celebrated every June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a pivotal event in the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement.

🌈 The Stonewall Uprising began on June 28, 1969, when police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Greenwich Village, New York City.

🌈 The uprising served as a catalyst for the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world.

🌈 In 1970, the first Pride marches took place in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.

🌈 These events have since evolved into the global phenomenon of Pride Month, celebrated with parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia, and concerts that attract millions of participants around the world.

🌈 Pride Month is important because it highlights the struggles and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community.

🌈 It serves as a time for people to remember the history of the movement, honor those who have fought for the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals, and continue the fight against discrimination and injustice.

🌈 It's also a celebration of diversity, love, and acceptance, offering a platform for LGBTQ+ voices to be heard and recognized.

🌈 Additionally, it supports the mental and emotional health of LGBTQ+ individuals by fostering a sense of belonging and community.

May we all feel the freedom to love 💛

Some of us have become so practiced at holding everything together…
that we don’t even realize how much effort it takes anymore.

The planning.
The tending.
The emotional labor.
The constant internal bracing.

This retreat was created as a space to put some of that down.

Not to become someone different.
Not to “fix” yourself.
But to reconnect with the parts of you that have been carrying so much for so long.

What happens when we apply a q***r lens to healing?

This question has been living with me lately.

Inspired by the book "Q***ring Psychedelics", I've been reflecting on the practice of q***ring—not only as it relates to gender and sexuality, but as an invitation to question assumptions, challenge norms, and make space for perspectives, identities, and ways of being that exist beyond rigid categories.

What if we brought that same curiosity to healing?
What assumptions have we inherited about what healing should look like?
Who gets included in healing spaces?
Whose voices and wisdom are centered?
Where did these teachings come from, and how might we honor the lineages and communities that have carried them forward?

As someone who identifies as Q***r and holds a lot of healing spaces as a therapist, breathwork facilitator, and educator, these questions matter deeply to me.

This Pride, I'm creating a space for q***r folks to gather in community and solidarity as we explore these questions through the wisdom of the breath.

Together, we'll explore embodiment, authenticity, liberation, and belonging.

We'll create space for curiosity rather than certainty.

For connection rather than performance.

For remembering that healing is not about becoming someone else—it is about coming home to ourselves.

You have spent so much energy holding it all together.
Managing.
Pushing through.
Keeping it all moving.

And while survival has kept you going — it was never meant to be the whole story.

What does it feel like to move beyond getting through and begin returning to aliveness?

🌸 If this post speaks to you, share it with someone you love and follow for more ways to restore balance and presence.

What does it mean to move beyond survival and begin returning to aliveness?

This month we're exploring the nervous system and survival mode, reconnecting to joy and vitality, creating space for pleasure, rest, and play, expanding your capacity to feel fully present, and learning how to move toward aliveness gently and safely.

Because healing often happens in the small moments. The moment your shoulders soften. The moment laughter returns. The moment you feel more like yourself.

Not forcing. Not performing. Not rushing.

A gentle reflection to carry with you: What are the moments, places, people, or experiences that help me feel most alive? What helps my body soften enough to notice them?

You do not need to force yourself into joy. You do not need to perform healing. You do not need to rush your becoming. We begin simply by noticing what helps us feel a little more here.

Save this for when you need a reminder that healing is allowed to feel soft.
