Nothing says summer quite like a day at the ballpark! ⚾💚

Our residents had an incredible time cheering on the Gwinnett Stripers this weekend! From the amazing seats and yummy snacks to sharing laughs with friends, every moment made for a day to remember.

We want to extend a special thank you to the Gwinnett Stripers and their wonderful coordinators for working with us to create such a fantastic experience for our residents. We are so grateful!

Today we had an incredible energy boost during our session with Marrio Gaines and the wonderful MONTENE! Watching Marrio engage with MONTENE was truly inspiring. He knows just how to get her moving and filled with excitement! With music and chants echoing around us, it was impossible not to feel the vibe. We are excited to introduce Marrio, our RISE Coordinator here at Phoenix at Lake Lanier MC! Marrio has a unique talent for engaging our residents and getting everyone up, moving, and grooving. His energy is contagious, and it’s not uncommon for the staff to join in on the fun!

We absolutely love our residents and take great joy in seeing them embrace movement and music. Although we weren't able to capture all the moments on video, we are thrilled to share a photo from a recent dance session!

A special highlight was watching Miss Deborah and Miss Carol cut a rug and celebrate the joy of movement. It truly was a delightful experience that we would have loved to share more of with you all. We hope you can feel the excitement and happiness that permeates our community!

What a fantastic day with the amazing crew! 🎨 We had Colleen bringing the good vibes, Mr. Jim rocking his kids' school colors, and Mr. Curtis with that ever-present smile! Ms. Dottie was in her element, coloring like a pro, while Miss Carol lit up the room with her positivity! And how could we forget Mrs. Linda and Mrs. Betty commanding attention like a dynamic duo? Just got back from the BEST bowling day ever! 🎳 Our residents really brought their A-game to the mobile bowling event, and let me tell you, the energy was infectious! Laughter, friendly competition, and some epic strikes (and a few gutter balls, too). It was all about having fun and making memories together. Can't wait to do it again! 🌲 Day One at Camp Canoe! Our campers kicked off camp with a day full of fun, laughter, and new friendships! They got creative making their own nature-inspired name tags, burned off some energy with relay races, cooled down with delicious ice cream sundaes, and even came up with a special camp cheer to perform for our residents. All about the red, white, and blue!

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating the Fourth of July this week with festive treats, music, laughter, and patriotism. It was a joy to spend the holiday honoring our country's independence with all things fun.

We are grateful to our veterans, whose courage and sacrifice have helped protect the freedoms we celebrate today. Thank you for your service.
